If you desire excluded, you definitely get that at Silver Cove!

You’ll find everything from multi-story water slides (including those drop-style launches that kids love) to arcades and even go-kart tracks on ships like Norwegian Encore. Their kids and teen clubs are also very well done, which gives parents the space to actually relax and enjoy the ship as well or join in on the fun!

For solo travelers, Norwegian Cruise Line is actually one of the most thoughtful options at sea. They offer dedicated solo staterooms—including interior-style “studio” cabins—that are designed and priced specifically for one person, so you’re not paying that typical double-occupancy premium. These rooms are cozy and compact but very well-designed, ideal if you plan to spend most of your time enjoying the ship rather than sitting in your cabin. What really sets the solo experience apart, is access to the private Studio Lounge—a keycard-only space exclusively for solo guests where you’ll find complimentary coffee, espresso, and snacks throughout the day, along with a comfortable, social atmosphere that makes it easy to meet other travelers if you want to, or simply unwind in a quieter setting! Very neato amenities!

Where does NCL cruise? Norwegian covers many of the destinations people already have on their list—Caribbean, Alaska, Europe, Hawaii—and they tend to build itineraries that give you a nice balance of time in port and time onboard. The addition of Great Stirrup Cay as a private island stop really rounds out the experience, especially if you’re looking for that easy, all-in-one beach day without extra planning.
